UNCTAD has developed a training package on trade, environment and development.
Eight modules have been developed, dealing with a range of issues, as follows:

  • 2 Trade and environment in the multilateral trading system
  • 3 Multilateral Environmental Agreements
  • 4 Environmental requirements and market access
  • 5 Environmentally preferable products (EPPs)
  • 6 Implications of international standards for environmental management systems, particularly ISO 14000, for developing countries and countries in transition
  • 7 Harnessing traditional knowledge for trade and development;
  • 8 Building on developing countries' experiences with integrated assessments of trade
