CheMatch Chematch is dedicated to international chemicals, plastics and fuel products trade. $110 millions was traded in third quarter of 2000 through the auction.
In june 2000, the first -ever online option was traded. In Sept. 2000, an agreement with CME (and thus Globex2) allows the creation of derivatives contracts on the back of the spot contracts being traded already. Options gives the rigth to buy or sell product at a predetermine date and at a defined strike price, but if the otion is executed, product will be supplied (unlike a financial option).		  
india-apparel.com This site is dedicated to improve international trade with textile suppliers of India. Buyers can place bids and offers as normal. Suppliers are registered indian companies with india-apparel.com. There is no other services than some general information about regulatory framework and shipping facilities which exist in India.  
Inter-Continental Tire Exchange This site deals only with tires.
It is free to participate to the auction. The liquidity of the auction is null at that time. Bullet boards are much more active and free to consult.

Commodity Surplus This site is a database of suppliers or buyers which want to trade stocks of products, parts or materials. The term 'surplus' means that the products are not earmarked for projects or for sale through the businesses normal channels. The site provides also escrow and freight quote services. Registration is needed to post ads and to have access to full information about sellers or buyers.
An auction is said to be available by the beginning of 2001.		  
EC21 This site is a database of advertisement, freely accessible. It is mainly dedicated to exporters of Korea. The site provides possibilities to add for selling or buying or only giving information about Korean companies.  
efdex This site is dedicated to food and drink trading. It provides boards of supply and demand, and at the same time up-to-the-minute price information on markets. This exchange is open to UK and the world. There are no others services than the information and the virtual trading floor.  
EnronOnline This site owned by Enron Inc.is dedicated to energy, paper, metals, steel, bandwidth,shipping, credit derivatives and weather derivatives. For all transactions, Enron Inc. is the counterpart. Derivatives are swaps and caps products. The site is a kind of bullet board, not an auction becuase prices ofered by Enron are fixed.  
Farmchina.com A multiple product site which provide exchange on a wide range of agricultural related products: aquaculture, machinery, chemicals, dairy & equipment, food & processing, fertilizers, animal feed , forestry, horticulture, livestock, vegetable & fruit and seeds. The site is oriented to international trade through its advertisement boards.  
FreeMarkets This platform conducts online auctions for industrial parts, raw materials, commodities and services. It has subdivided its buying auctions into six markets: automotive, consumer goods, energy, high technology, manufacturing, and public sector. For each auction, suppliers are selected accordingly by Freemarkets.
FreeMarkets' headquarters is based in Pittsburg (US). It has operations in the US, Australia, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, India, Korea, London, Mexico, Paris, Singapore, Switzerland and Tokyo. India Trade Board This site is a database of advertisements, freely accessible. Each advertisement provides full information about the ad's owner. The site plays only a role of relaying information. Registration is only needed to post and ad.  
JCBus Japan China A database of japanese and chinese companies' advertisements. Browsing adds is free. The site is mainly aimed to japanes or chinese traders, nevertheless an english version exists on trade and news topics.  
proxchange Proxchange is a site to buy and sell pre-owned goods in Europe. Apart from the virtual trading floor, proxchange provides a wide range of services thanks to the various partnerships it had. Services: insurance, credit insurance, financing, escrow, company rating, certification/estimation, logistic/transport, legal service, sectorial info, translations.  
The Recycler's Exchange This site deals with recyclables commodities, by-products, used and surplus items or materials. Example of items: scrap glass and fiberglass, non-ferrous metals, Precious metals, exotic metals, scrap plastic recycling... Project of RecycleNet Corporation. The site provides price quotes for some items (based on the transactions' price done in the site). Lists are free to consult.  
TTnet Search This site is a database of advertisements, freely accessible. There are offers for buying and selling. Negociations take place out of the site, directly between buyers and sellers. Registration is only needed to post an ad.
