Note:
The government also uses the automatic bridge between DMFAS and DRS, the World Bank’s Debtor Reporting System.

Activities in 2008 (project and non-project):

  • Responded to Central Bank's request for assistance with reorganization of the debt office and discussed the potential for a DMFAS project to assist in developing the new organizational structure.
  • Participation of one staff from the Central Bank and one staff from the Ministry  of Finance in the regional DPA workshop, Amman, Jordan, October 2008.   
  • On-going DMFAS Programme support (including project management, administrative, documentation and IT) regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as on current and future capacity-building activities was provided from Geneva during the year.  The DMFAS Helpdesk responded to one country-specific assistance request during the year.

Note:
One debt official from the Central Bank is regularly employed as a consultant to implement DMFAS activities in other countries, including, for 2008, Egypt and Jordan.

Continued DMFAS support regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as other capacity-building activities in debt management.  Including:
