Activities in 2008 (project and non-project):

• On-going discussion on the finalization of a new project, to include training in debt statistics, data validation and to cover the integration of DMFAS within the Ministry of Finance's financial management system

• On-going DMFAS Programme support (including project management, administrative, documentation and IT) regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as on current and future capacity-building activities was provided from Geneva during the year.  In addition to regular contact with the Government about capacity-building needs and the organization of project activities, this included, for example, three updates (patches 18, 19 and 20) to the DMFAS system currently installed in the Ministry of Finance as well as user documentation updates. It also included DMFAS Helpdesk user support, one query was sent.

Planned activities:
Continued DMFAS support regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as other capacity-building activities in debt management.  Including:

• DMFAS Helpdesk user support
• Finalization of a new project and start of activities
