Activities in 2008 (project and non-project):   

• Contribution to the preparation of UNCTAD's One UN project proposal to Albania
• IT and Functional Training missions, December. 
• On-going DMFAS Programme support (including project management, administrative, documentation and IT) regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as on current and future capacity-building activities was provided from Geneva during the year.  In addition to the organization of project activities, this included DMFAS Helpdesk user support.  The latter responded to 3 country-specific assistance requests during the year.

Planned activities:

• Continued DMFAS support regarding implementation of the DMFAS system as well as other capacity-building activities in debt management.  Including:
• DMFAS Helpdesk user support;
• DSM+ hands-on training, January 2008;
• Discussion with the officials from the Ministry of Finance regarding the implementation of DMFAS V. 6 and integration of DMFAS with the Ministry’s Treasury system;
• Participation of officials from the Ministry of Finance in UNCTAD's 7th Inter-regional Debt Management Conference, November 2009.
