Regional workshops
The Project organizes regional workshops in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, the Pacific and Central and
Eastern Europe,
starting in January 2003.
Workshop format
The workshop format is designed to cover activities over a period
of two to five working days. The curriculum offers a combination
of lectures, case studies and simulation exercises selected and
developed to address the specific interests of developing countries
as trading and investment partners.
Target audience
Each
workshop hosts 30 participants selected from among government
officials, academics, practising lawyers and representatives of
business associations of developing countries.
Participants are
expected to pay for their travel, subsistence and medical expenses.

This Workshop hosts participants of Member States of the D-8
Organization for Development Cooperation.
