Internships

 


The Project offers placement for graduate students under 30 years of age from developing countries and countries with economies in transition to undertake internships at the secretariat in Geneva. The interns will have an opportunity:

  • To study the Course on Dispute Settlement;

  • To meet officials dealing with dispute settlement at WTO and WIPO;

  • To familiarize themselves with the work of UNCTAD in the fields of trade negotiations, commercial diplomacy, investment agreements and competition policy; and

  • To work in the Project on Dispute Settlement.

The Project offers no financial support to interns. All expenses relating to travel, accommodation and other living expenses including insurance must be borne by the interns. Upon completion of an internship, interns will receive a certificate acknowledging their attendance.
